I
was very fortunate that my friends in Johannesburg, South Africa had a lovely
swimming pool that I could cool off in
and of course for safety it was fenced and
also had a reflection in the water.
Now for the word prompts for Friday's Hunt.
They are F, Week's Favourite and Negative Space.
The first one is easy, it is the FENCE above. Well I thought that was too easy so here is another F- FRANGIPANI Tree.
I was sitting on this terrace at a friends home in Zomba, Malawi this year and hear Annika my granddaughter calling me. Can you see her?
Well here she is in the top of this Frangipani Tree.
You can just see her in the shot above when you know where to look!
I will have to say this is my FAVOURITE photo this week.

for your visit and also to all those who

What fun.
ReplyDeleteAnd it would have been delicious climbing the frangipani as well. Gorgeous scent.
Great photo of your grand-daughter in the frangipani tree - looks like she was having a wonderful time :)
ReplyDeleteHello Margaret. Wonderful images for your post. My favorite is the one of your granddaughter, she is so cute. Great shot. Happy Friday, enjoy your weekend!
ReplyDeleteI love the quotation from Luke - and all the other photos as well. That pool certainly looks inviting from the perspective of winter in Wisconsin. LOL
ReplyDeleteGreat photos, Margaret! That's a pretty tree. I really like the "granddaughter flower"! I also like just saying the name of that tree: Frangipani. Sounds like a delicious Italian dish.
ReplyDeleteWhat a cute little redhead! Have a lovely weekend.
ReplyDeleteMe encanta la foto de tu nieta en el árbol :)
ReplyDeleteWell I've never been to Portsmouth OR Malawai..............think I'd prefer the latter maybe.
ReplyDeleteGreat series! That is quite the tree! Adorable shot of your granddaughter in the tree. Thanks so much for joining Friday's Hunt.
