They are all great, but I think I like the moody beauty captured at the Resevoir outside Belfast.
ReplyDeleteI think my favorite would be the reservoir outside Belfast. Thank you for linking in with "Through My Lens".

I like the resevoir one too, very peaceful............
ReplyDeleteThe photos are all great but I think I would choose the Puffin - one of my favourite birds :) Enjoy Costa Rica and look forward to seeing all the photos.
ReplyDeleteLovely photos! I really think you captured a regal post in your Mandarin duck. Wishing you well!
ReplyDeleteSono tutte stupende ma la mia preferita è la prima: l'oca mandarina. Stupendi i colori e bellissima la posa. Complimenti sei bravissima, un abbraccio

Hello Margaret, what a great selection for your hunt. I love all the beautiful birds, The puffin is one of my favorites. Happy February, enjoy your new week!
ReplyDeletewonderful shots, love the water photo!
ReplyDeleteThis is a wonderful collection of photos, each a prize in its own right. Do I have a favorite? Yes, two actually. I love your face on shot of the Puffin because it reminds me of our time in northern Scotland, and your B&W shot of the weir with that terrific reflection.
ReplyDeleteSuch delights Margaret
ReplyDeleteNice photo collection! I like the puffin portrait the best.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous photos !! I love these beautiful birds !!
ReplyDeleteGreetings

Hi Margaret, I love them ALL--but my two fav's today are the first one (love the colors) and the last one ---because I LOVE Rhododendrons....
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Betsy

ReplyDeleteWonderful photos...

Excellent photos - so sharp and well composed. I'm not a birder, so my favorite is Lagan Weir. I like the way it almost looks abstract, with the shine and reflections.
ReplyDeleteI couldn't possibly pick a favourite...they are all stunning. Well done.

Your Grey Heron looks just like the Great Blue Herons we have here in the United States. Very difficult to pick a favorite, all are lovely photos!
ReplyDeleteThe simplicity of the Reservoir outside Belfast really appeals to me.
Me fascinaron los colores del pato mandarín :)
ReplyDeleteY sobre todo la de la niña, porque no hay nada más sincero y bonito que la sonrisa de un niño.
¡Maravillosas fotografías!
They're all great! But i love the Puffin.
ReplyDeleteAll are beautiful, but I really am struck by the lone tree.
ReplyDeleteThey are all favorites. Wonderful images!!
ReplyDeleteExcellent photos. I love the mandarin duck, but my favourite is Lagan Weir.
ReplyDeleteThey are all such fantastic photos! I love them all.
ReplyDeleteAll of them: so beautiful wonders to discover! best regards!
ReplyDeleteThese are amazing shots, Margaret. The Mandarin Duck is exquisite, he almost doesn't look real, but like something painted.
ReplyDeleteI'm also captivated by the photo of the reflection under the bridge - at first glance it almost appeared an abstract.. Just a fantastic scene, so vivid and interesting!!
Spoilt for choice! The Mandarin Duck is stunning ~ just a beautiful shot, as they all are! The head on encounter with the Puffin was another fantastic shot... such detail and clarity. Who could not be enamoured with that sweet smile of the little girl? You have captured the silent stealthy movement of the Grey Heron. They are such patient birds, before the sudden dive for food. I also admired the photo of the reflection. A most wonderful selection of excellent photography!
ReplyDeleteThe Gannet is an interesting-looking bird, especially the beak and eye coloration.
ReplyDeleteGreat photos!
ReplyDeleteHard to choose. I am very fond of ducks (pleasant, likeable birds), and the Mandarin Duck is smashing! But the Puffin is a favorite and a most interesting bird, also nesting here in Norway.
All beautiful shots but especially love that mandarin duck. Such perfection in design!
