SUNDAY THOUGHT - Red -billed Oxpecker and Impala Antelope

However, I admit that I worship the God of our ancestors as a follower of the Way.  I believe everything that is in accordance with the Law and that is written in the Prophets.

Acts 24:14

Photographed in South Africa 2014

This Red -billed Oxpecker follows this Impala Antelope to eat ticks, small insects, botfly larvae, and other parasites off its body.

Many thanks for visiting also to all those who leave comments.

  2. Fascinating relationship between two species. Happens with fish too. I wonder if its the same bird with the same impala. Happy <3 Day!

  3. How fascinating to see that oxpecker ( which I have never heard of) riding along on that Impala. so interesting how animals live in such symbiotic relationships. Out today trying to catch up just a little bit with your blog. I have been very out of the blog world with these two surgeries. Blessings to you on this sunday
