WEEKEND REFLECTIONS - Lifupa Conservation Lodge (Part 8)

Yesterday I showed you the observation room overlooking the lake at Lifupa Conservation Lodge and today I am showing you a few birds I saw from there  that had reflections in the water.
They are an Egret and White - crowned Lapwing and a little peep of a Hippo.

I hope you enjoyed this post and tomorrow I will show you more birds when I hired a guide. to walk round the lake.

I am linking this post with WEEKEND REFLECTIONS.

Many thanks for you visit and also to all those who leave comments.

  4. Loving the Egrets it always seems weird seeing them in Africa when we get them over here, I guess it shows how small our planet really is. Have a great weekend.

  6. Great photos! Lately I haven't been seeing many/any Egrets around here where I am, so I'm not sure if they migrated south for the Winter, or if I've timed my searches for them when they simply weren't feeding at the beach.

  12. That bird in flight with its reflection in the water is a great shot. I wondered why you required a guide to walk around the lake, but if there are hippos the guide was a great idea. They are very dangerous animals.

  25. You have a wonderful area in which to capture so many lovely birds- the egret is one of my favorites because of their regal look.
