On
the lodge site there is an observation room overlooking the lake and a bar and
restaurant below it at the
Oh
I hear you saying, another ‘out of the box’ fence post. well in these lodges, NONE of the animals are
fenced in but WE do need the protection.
That’s
me, ever watchful to see what is on the lake.
Annika
and Daniel were quite happy up there as there was a good variety of games to play and of
course Judith, their Mum was always on hand to read a story.

ReplyDeleteStopping in for a visit from Good Fences. That looks to be a fantastic place for bird watching. I love all your bird pictures, but I especially love the hooded crow. I've not heard of them before now. Very handsome!

ReplyDeleteHow lucky you experienced that....I lived in Africa for 20 odd years and didn't do nearly enough of that kind of thing...certainly not in my adult years anyway. My husband and I were going to go back to Africa (where we met) for our 25th wedding anniversary and do a Safari but he couldn't get time off work....Well 30 is coming up next year....fingers crossed!
