SATURDAY CRITTERS - Chelinda Lodge in Nyika Plateau - Malawi(Part 11)

Once again these shots were taken of both these birds of prey when I had hired a guide to take me birding in Malawi.  Below is a Great Spotted Eagle.  








In photo below. the guide said it was a fairly rare Augur Buzzard for the area but I managed a very short video clip of it as it flew away.

    A most interesting bird--- very well captured. His beak seems almost petite compared to some raptors.
