GOOD FENCES - Dublin Buildings

Yesterday I showed you B & W photographs of Dublin, so today we are back to colour and these shots were taken as I walked past the Portland stone balustrades on the O’Connell bridge towards College Green where I would be lunching in a marvellous restaurant called “The Bank”.
(Don’t miss tomorrow’s post!)

Taken from moving train before I reached Dublin.

River Liffey

College Green (Irish: Faiche an Choláiste) is a three-sided plaza in the centre of Dublin. On its northern side is a building known today as the Bank of Ireland which until 1800 was Ireland's Parliament House. (below)

To its east stands Trinity College Dublin. To its south stands a series of 19th-century buildings that are mostly banks. Streets leading onto College Green.

The Bank of Ireland

The Ulster Bank Entrance.

We are nearly there for our luncheon date so see you tomorrow.

I am linking this post with GOOD FENCES.

Thanks for dropping by and many thanks for leaving any comments.
