Many thanks for leaving comments on any of my posts.
I get lizards in my garden from time to time Margaret but I assure you I would not want one like that, he looks BIG
ReplyDeleteWow - thank goodness you can see in the video that he's striding off with purpose, he's enormous - great tongue!
ReplyDeleteWren x
Great to see such a creature. The biggest one I once saw in Africa was a water monitor in the Kruger Park. The was a baby compared with this one.
ReplyDeleteGreetings, Kees
Wow...I'm not so sure I'd like to even be THIS close to one like that...it looks menacing.
ReplyDeleteHello Margaret.
ReplyDeleteIn my garden there are tiny lizards.
I'm glad that's not as great as in your picture.
Happy Advent.
Greetings.
Lucia
you have it labeled on the video as rock monitor. what a beauty!
ReplyDeleteWow! It's nearly a crocodile!!! And the video is very interesting to understand who that lizard is :)
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh, it is walking right across the street! Just like a person, and with other people? Do they just walk around like that? It MAY be a Gila Monster?
ReplyDeleteCool creature!
ReplyDeleteI can't help with the lizard ID but is an imposing creature. Too bad that classifying animals as either "good" or "bad" didn't end since biblical times.
ReplyDeleteGreat video! At least he isn't a Rock Lobster...
ReplyDelete~
I love lizards but that one is just a little too large for me. It sure does move quickly.
ReplyDeleteIt looks huge! Great to see it in action on the video.
ReplyDeleteWhat amazing captures, Margaret! This is a Rock Monitor. Great photography. Have a lovely weekend. Jo
