Walk through Ward Park and round Portavoe Lake

Yesterday I walked home through Ward Park where I saw Greylag geese, Mallard duck and Black headed gulls which you will see in the first 3 shots.  Then I drove to Portavoe Resevoir which is about 2 miles from my home and on a very muddy path walked round the lake.  Nearly all the autumn colour had got.  There were several Little Grebes, a lot of Mallard and Tufted ducks and other then dogs, nothing else.  I spent most of my time just trying to stay upright and not end up in the mud.  However, enjoy the photographs I did take.

Anglers use the reservoir however there were no many there yesterday.

Although it was overcast, there were still
some interesting reflections of the bare trees in the water.

Just as I was about to get into my car, this horse and rider passed.
I hope you enjoyed this post.

Many thanks for visiting and also to those who leave comment.
