This is the sunrise I woke up to over Lake Malawi. We took Daniel to his first diving lesson and
dive yesterday and so today we take him to his second. Just before we go I will show you a bird I saw
on the beach and then show you reflections in the bonnet pf the car We met Monkeys Baboons along the way, huge trees and rocks.
This is a Pied Kingfisher.
Next
Tuesday/Wednesday on Wild Bird Wednesday I will be showing you many more of
these birds.
I was utterly thrilled to
see them and I think you will be also.
For
breakfast we had this lovely papaya which Annika is holding.
As
you can see these shots are taken through the windscreen and are not great
reflection shots however I wanted you to see the road and large trees and rocks. There are monkeys and baboons all around this area and also on top of the big rocks.
When we arrived at the scuba centre, Daniel went off
again, and Judith and I relaxed looking out over Lake Malawi. The beach was deserted, ever the dog was not
there.
Like yesterday Judith, Annika and myself went off to
have refreshments at a different restaurant and on returning we were entertained by this
little band of children. Below is a short
clip of their efforts.
Tomorrow I will show you the birds that were around the
scuba centre on this beach.
