SATURDAY CRITTERS

Over the summer I have tried to take as many of my birders out as possible under the present restrictions we have from the government, even leaving from my caravan and on one of those occasions, we saw this lovely Little Egret who was fishing for his lunch.

WEEKEND REFLECTIONS AND THE WEEKEND ROUNDUP

Time for Weekend Reflections and The Weekend Roundup and the letter is H and Heavy. Only two photographs this week.  The same view from my old caravan but taken at two different times of the day.  In the first one you can see a HOUSE where the man who owns the fields lives and he has a HEDGE round his HOUSE.  Is the field is a trailer filled with HAY and it needs a tracker to pull it as it would be too HEAVY  for me to pull by myself.  Now as you can image I think this site is HEAVENLY and it is my special HAVEN. The final image is the REFLECTION of the sunset which sets in the opposite direction to this shot.  I normally see the sunrise from my bed overlooking the water.

I hope you enjoyed this post today.

WEEKEND REFLECTIONS AND THE WEEKEND ROUNDUP

Time for Weekend Reflections and The Weekend Roundup and the letter is G and GREEN and this time I am showing the GLASS structure of the Palm House at the Belfast Botanic Gardens. and is surrounded by GREEN foliage  The building was designed by Sir Charles Lanyon, who also helped design parts of nearby Queen's University. The foundation stone was laid in 1839 and the two wings were completed in 1840 by leading ironmaster, Richard Turner. The dome was added in 1852.

Above is an image I took on one of my walks and both the leaves and flowers are GREEN but the flowers will turn yellow as it is a Laburnum tree.  Below this images was taken at Portavoe Reservoir and shows a lot of GREEN from the trees and plants giving me a beautiful REFLECTION photograph to end this post.

I hope you enjoyed this post today.
