WILD BIRD WEDNESDAY

These photographs of the Green Woodpecker were taken from my bed, through a window while I was visiting the Isle of Wight.  Fortunately I had my camera to hand.  It is a male with a juvenile Green Woodpecker.

    Perhaps the male woodpecker was showing the juvenile just how it is done. Dad and son perhaps?
