WILD BIRD WEDNESDAY - Malawi

As I said yesterday I have just returned from Malawi and every morning at 5.30 am my daughter and I would go for a walk and one day I saw this Stripped Kingfisher sitting on a wire.  I am linking this post with Wild Bird Wednesday.

    Those kingfishers are really something to watch in action. Diving deep to get a fish, then knocking it out and swallowing it. We have the Belted ones, not this kind.
