Just before I arrived in Malawi, my daughter had
purchased 6 laying chickens and Annika my granddaughter really loves them. I have named one Annabelle and although they
all look very similar, she has more white on her wing than the others. Also, they got 3 cockerels and they also have
another hen called Star who when I arrived was sitting on 12 eggs but on the
day before I left 2 hatched but one died. I am linking to Saturday Critters.
This
is Annabelle above but can you pick her out from all the other hens below?
Star
is sitting on her eggs in Nelson, the gardener’s house.
Can you see how small the chick just born is
and Nelson let Annika hold it for a few minutes before he put it back after
Star.
Many
thanks for visiting and also for leaving comments.
I think I WOULD be able to tell her from the other chickens! They got redhead chickens just like Annika!
