ReplyDeleteLovely captures Margaret. Have a good weekend.
ReplyDeleteSuch gorgeous clear shots of the swallows, I love their coloration and cute forked tails. I marvel that you got such clear photos with all that strong wind. The sounds they make are so cute. They are the same colors but different patterns than the barn swallows here.
ReplyDeleteYour Swallows do a lot of resting. Good to see them at eye level.
ReplyDeleteHello Margaret, pretty shots and video of the Swallows. They look like are barn swallows. I love the background to so pretty. Thank you for linking up and sharing your post. Have a happy weekend!

Love 'em all today Margaret. The close up images AND the ones with the far-distant shots showing them all hunkered down on the fence wire.

ReplyDeleteBeautiful images Margaret of one of my favourite species. I like the individual birds in the images but equally liked seeing multiple Swallows on the fence.
ReplyDeleteThis is such a beautiful bird and it is so cute how they line themselves up on the fence. These photos are great!
ReplyDeleteSo that's the secret to getting good swallow pics! Wait for a storm and they just hold on...I try them on the wing sometimes, no dice.

ReplyDeleteThe Swallows have had a hard time of it this year Margaret. The weather has not been helpful in providing lots of insects and I'm hoping that the promised heat wave of next week will boost the Swallows' productivity. Keep those pictures coming - I love Swallows.
