SATURDAY CRITTERS - Swallows in Donegal (Part 6)

These Swallows were doing their best in the wind and the rain to stay on the fence and all the shots were taken from inside my car.  You will hear on the video at the end I still have my indicator light on as you can hear the tick tock!!!

I am linking this post with SATURDAY CRITTERS.

I hope you liked the Swallows and I thank you for visiting.

I finally arrived at my friend Trish's home, unpacked and settled in for a few days, however once again NATURE had a different idea and all will be revealed on Monday's Post.

Many thanks for those who leave comments and I wish everyone a happy weekend.

  6. Such gorgeous clear shots of the swallows, I love their coloration and cute forked tails. I marvel that you got such clear photos with all that strong wind. The sounds they make are so cute. They are the same colors but different patterns than the barn swallows here.

  19. So that's the secret to getting good swallow pics! Wait for a storm and they just hold on...I try them on the wing sometimes, no dice.

  30. The Swallows have had a hard time of it this year Margaret. The weather has not been helpful in providing lots of insects and I'm hoping that the promised heat wave of next week will boost the Swallows' productivity. Keep those pictures coming - I love Swallows.
