GOOD FENCE - Horses at Blessingbourne House (Part 11)

Last week I introduced you to Cowboy, the 2 years old horse with the halter on and Lola who is a one year old.  Colleen has only purchased them recently.  They are the best of friends; in fact the man who sold them to her would not sell one without the other.   There is a VIDEO of them at the end of the post.

When we moved them from the top paddock to this paddock, I was able to see them more often and as they are still settling into their new home, they were a bit shy at first with me however by the end of my 3 days when they saw me coming, they always came over to be stroked.

However on my last morning, I found Cowboy lying down and he would not get up.  Now I am not used to horses and their behaviour so I was a bit worried that he was sick so I went and got Nick, Colleen’s husband but he was able to tell me Cowboy was trying to sleep!!  I was relieved and went home happy.

Now for the short video. CLICK HERE if it does not appear below.

I fell in love with these 2 horses and I hope you enjoyed seeing them.

I am linking this post with GOOD FENCES.

  1. I like the colour of roan horses. About time someone forked out for a halter.

The speed limit sounds perfect for the countryside (I say even perfect for many city neighborhoods).

  33. Beautiful horses. Thanks for the video. Shame about the noisy plane but it did let us see them run. They do appear to be really good mates.
