There are quite a number of cats around Blessingbourne House. Some belong to the owners, Nick and Colleen and others belong to some of
the estate workers. These are some of
the photographs I took of them while I was staying here several months ago.
I hope you enjoyed seeing the cats at
Blessingbourne House and would agree they are all very handsome.

Beautiful cat photos, but then, I'm a sucker for furry faces. We used to have cats ---anywhere from 1 to 8 at a time (mostly 3-4) but since we are traveling more in our retirement, we decided not to let another one adopt us after our last one died. But I do miss having cats in our home.
ReplyDeleteI am owned by cats - but loved looking at these. Thank you.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful cats! I haven't had cats myself, we had dogs when I was little. My roommate had a white cat called Luna. I'd love to have a cat some day. Enjoy your weekend.
ReplyDeleteLovely photos, they are very photogenic and are good posers! :)
ReplyDeleteNot my cup of tea, but , great photos.
ReplyDeleteThe cats' coats look so beautiful in the sunlight. And their profiles are stunning.
ReplyDeleteOh, they look really the same kind we can see here in Japan♫♫♫
ReplyDeleteSending Lots of Love and Hugs from Japan, xoxo Miyako*

I love the pussy cats Margaret, they look so healthy and content. Have a super weekend.
ReplyDeleteLovely shots.......at least while they snooze the birds are safe!
ReplyDeleteHappy weekend!
They look well taken care of for sure. I am wary of cats. I guess I've met a few too many vicious ones in my lifetime. I always get the impression that they are really peeking at me when they have their eyes closed. :)
ReplyDeleteI so love cats!!! This post was entirely enjoyable Margaret!!
ReplyDeleteYes, quite handsome and enjoying the sunshine. Beautiful photography, Margaret. Have a blessed weekend.
ReplyDeletesweet beauties!
ReplyDeleteWonderful series of cat shots! Love the close up portraits!
ReplyDeleteHappy day to you ~ artmusedog and carol (A Creative Harbor)
Lovely and cute.
ReplyDeleteThey look very content and happy.
ReplyDeleteThe black and white ones remind me of my two.
Great photos of all these pretty cats Margaret.
ReplyDeleteYou know how much I love cats. Precious photos you have shared. Have a nice weekend.
ReplyDeleteOh, Margaret! these are beautiful! Now we have both posted cat pictures! Each little detail shows up so beautifully! The first two pictures...the railing matched the cat!! Did you do that on purpose? It is really cool!! And the black and white...it looks a bit like he has two black teardrops running down his face. That is just my impression.
ReplyDeletethese cats really do have character. what cuties. almost statue like. ( :
ReplyDeletehave a great weekend.
Beautiful cats! They look so content!
ReplyDeleteThe black and white cats remind me of my grandkitty. She is also a snow shoe cat, I frequently wonder where the white feet came from.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful kitties.
ReplyDeleteI've been a cat person all my live. I learned to appreciate dogs, too, as I got older.

Nice portraits Margaret, even though they are bird killers.{:))
ReplyDelete.
The cats are very beautiful...but you've gone quite a ways away from the "Birding for Pleasure"....;-)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful cat portraits! Hope they're being nice to the birds though. :/
ReplyDeleteNONE of these cats are bird lovers, fortunately. I do not like cats to bring home birds for fun , Thanks for comment
DeleteAll beautiful kitties!
ReplyDeleteThey make a cute pair and it is a great photo opportunity for you.
ReplyDeleteHi Margaret,
ReplyDeleteBeautiful pictures of the cats.
All perfectly photographed, my compliments.
Best regards, Irma
You know I can never pass up a selection of cat photos. These were great and yes those cats were handsome and pretty. The black and white ones are almost "twins" and that first little kitty is adorable and I'm loving the background she was on.
ReplyDeleteReminds me of the Ernest Hemingway house in Key West, Florida, as it too is populated by many cats. Some seem to have been long- time residents.
