Yesterday I returned to Blantrye from my 2 weeks trip with the family around Malawi. We had a wonderful time and adventure. Mostly we had no internet and often NO POWER at all!!! Sorry to Stewart, Tex, James and Eileen that I could not join their meme last week but here's hoping it might be possible this week. Below it another post I had in draft.
Recently when I was on the Isle of Wight, my friend Eileen and I visited d Hersey Nature Reserve and saw this Fox soon after we arrived. It seemed to be eating something on we could not make out what it was, we were hoping it was not the remains of a duck! Sit back and enjoy seeing this beautiful animal and then watch the video at the end of this post.

ReplyDeleteI love the Foxes, they are beautiful.
ReplyDeleteLove the textures created by the grasses in the reflections. Sleeping ducks and the lovely little fox made quite the lovely scenes. Continued safe travels!

Whatever he was eating it was probably dead already as I doubt he could have caught a duck in such open spaces Margaret.
ReplyDeleteWelcome back!:) Saved posts always come in handy, and what a nice one this is! Lovely fox scenes.
ReplyDeleteHow wonderful to see this fellow. He's so cute. Great photos and a delightful video.
ReplyDeleteHe is really beautiful there on the water. I think he may be out to catch a bird. I hope he doesn't, but he may be very hungry and have cubs to feed.
ReplyDeleteWelcome back. The fox looks to be a very, very healthy animal - which is lovely.
ReplyDeleteLove these series of photos! The fox is so cute and your photos are gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteHi Margaret, I thought you were probably out of town and away from the internet since I haven't heard from you in awhile... Bet you had a wonderful time with your family.
ReplyDeleteGreat pictures of the fox... I'm not sure he was eating a duck (hope not) --since there are others fairly close by who don't seem to be afraid.... Great video.. I enjoyed it.
Hugs,
Betsy
