GOOD FENCES - MISSION BEACH RESORT

Today I am showing you fences from a wonderful Resort/Hotel high above Mission Beach in Queensland.   The last time I was in Australia, I took my family to this very posh hotel for lunch.  One of the reason being that the previous time I was in Australia just after the Cyclone Yasi hit this coastline, this hotel was closed because of so much destruction, so we were interested to see what they had done to it.  The island you see from the hotel in the distance is Dunk Island and Resort and it also was devastated in the cyclone but unfortunately still was not operating several years afterwards.

I hope you enjoyed these photographs and I can tell you lunch was  and fabulous.

I am linking this post with Tex's GOOD FENCES.

Thanks for visiting and also for leaving any comments.

  5. Good to see how well this place has recovered ... it looks great and I thoroughly enjoyed the tour. Your pictures are wonderful; the only thing about the post that could possibly be better would be if you had been able to share some of that wonderful lunch. (I must be getting hungry ;>)

  7. Oh my gosh! This looks like something from a movie! Or something that a Sultan would own. Fantastic!! I don't know which is more beautiful, the view or the place itself!
