I am once again on the I.O.W. and I am still trying to finish
my posts from being here in February.
Once again Eileen and I went to the National Trust Reserve at Newtown. Today before we arrived at the reserve, we
spied this very pale Buzzard sitting in a field and I thought you would like to
see it. I had never seen such a light
coloured bird before although Eileen said she had seen a chick born a couple of
years ago that was very like this one and we wondered if this was the one she had
seen before. Anyway, I hope you enjoy seeing this lovely bird.
Thanks you for visiting.
Many thanks for all who left comments on any of my
blogs
Neat bird and cool shots of the buzzard! Enjoy your day!
ReplyDeleteHe is a lovely bird - and if he is not the one that Eileen had seen, I suspect he was a close relative.

ReplyDeleteThat one does look very pale, but I guess there are lots of variations in plumage.
ReplyDeleteIt's so unusual to me but perhaps familiar for you!! Beautiful images!!
ReplyDeleteVery interesting, and I would never have guessed that he was a buzzard. I would have guessed some sort of hawk. As you can tell, I have a LONG way to go on the birding. Very good shots
