Every day, I walk Tilly the pup to Binstead beach on the I.O.W and we
pass these Donkeys every time. They are
usually not easy to see as I mostly see them through a thick hedge, let alone photograph and are always a distance away
behind a fence so this is the best I could do.
The lady who looks after them got them from a Donkey rescue centre. The brown on is 13 years old and the younger greyer one is 3 years old. I suggest you put it into slide mode and just enjoy
them.
Thank you for visiting.
Many thanks for leaving comments on any of my blogs.

These little donkeys look so sweet natured and your shots are very good. Looks as if the little grey and white came up for a pet. Nice of the lady to rescue these!
ReplyDeleteHi Jeanne No, they were too far away and a small field between them and me! Thanks for comment.
DeleteAren't they beautiful? Thanks so much for such beautiful pictures of them. I could do with one of them as a companion Trigger if I had more access to grass!
ReplyDeleteThey are very interesting critters. Great shots! I'm jealous of the vibrant green background. Everything here is still colored winter brown. Have a wonderful day!
ReplyDeleteWere you able to touch them at all? Their coat look quite rough and tough.
ReplyDeleteHi Carole No I was quite a distance from them. the lady never has them near the gate. thanks for comment.

ReplyDeletesuch a fun post.
Oh Margaret, I just love donkeys and these two are adorable. I especially like the brown one with her mop of hair that hangs over her eyes. She looks like she should be in the movies ... like Wizard of Oz or something. What fun to be able to see them daily. And how good of your neighbor to give them a forever home. Lovely post, Margaret.

ReplyDeleteHi EC. Tilly wanted to go in and see them but the lady said that donkeys would attack her as they think she is a fox. Thanks for. Comment
