Olive - backed Sunbird - male

I was looking through my photographs the other day and I came across these few shots of the beautiful little Olive - backed Sunbird.  Last year I did an informative post on this bird with stills and video showing it nesting and feeding the young and if you didn’t see it, you can find it in the archives in the right hand column of this blog under the date August 2013.  So sit back and enjoy seeing this tiny bird again.

Thank you for visiting.

Also many thanks for all who left comments on any of my posts, google plus and facebook.

  10. This is a handsome bird and I am fascinated by the tree or bush that it is sitting on. Were these taken close to your home? I love it when I learn about a new bird. I am headed right now to see your more extensive coverage on the Olive-Backed Sunbird. Thanks, Margaret. You always bring a smile to my day ...
