Fabulous Flamingos

These Flamingo photographs were taken a few years ago at Slimbridge WWT.













 I hope you enjoyed these photgraphs of these beautiful birds. 
I think I am caught up on most of your past posts for last week however I am still sorting my photographs that I took while Eileen and I birded around
Country Down and Antrim.

    Wonderful birds to see Margaret and I am lucky to live close Chester Zoo and not too far from Martin Mere WWT where I can see them. Fantastic images.

    So many of them, and all such a deep and beautiful color! Guess they have very good food to eat, I have seen some that are hardly even pink, depends on what they eat I am told. In the second picture, what are those little mounds? Are they nests? Or maybe just rocks?

    Love the reflections in the first shot!
    I happen to love flamingos. I've only seen them in person twice in my life but they just appeal to me. One year without knowing it both kids gave me the same birthday card with a flamingo on it.
