Red Squirrels on Isle of Wight

A few years ago I took these photographs of Red Squirrels on the I.O.W.  I  had taken my grandchildren to see them and we were able to get them to feed from our hands.  Eileen and I got back after a morning at the Walled garden and in the afternoon we walked around Ballymacormick Point into Groomsport and did some sea watching.  So this is our 5th day to go birding and my group are joining us this morning after which we will continue birding further on down the coast road.

I hope you enjoyed seeing these lovely Red Squirrels as much as we did feeding them.

Thank you for visiting  my blog  today and especially thanks to all those who, left comments, some of which gave Eileen and myself a great laugh.

  12. You really got some great shots of these squirrels! Their color seems more red than the ones we have around here.
