Your collared dove photo is fabulous and the magpie and the rest!! Do the birds see you at all through your window? I think we have a couple of Gold Finches who eat from our feeders..our visitors do not stay if they detect any movement from behind our windows or outside when I move to take their photo.
ReplyDeleteI'm wondering if you have the squirrels come and rummage through the feed trays where you live Margaret? I'm still admiring the lovely magpies, quite different to ours here
ReplyDeleteHello Margaret.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photos of the Blackbirds, the Turkish doves and the Magpie, you have perfectly captured, my compliments.
Regards, Irma
lovely to see all your garden birds.
ReplyDeleteLovely birds outside your window- I love the magpie and collered dove...just beautiful!
ReplyDeletei love your european blackbirds. the magpies are so handsome, too.
ReplyDeleteVery interesting. The Magpies you show look just like the ones we have here, but in my world, the Magpie flies away at the slightest movement and will not stay close to where humans are.
ReplyDeleteOh, I LOVE the Collared Dove shot. Beautiful!
ReplyDeletelove the wet look blackbird.

Tho you haven't yet added your link to the meme...[you can do it anytime between Saturday at noon -Texas USA daylight time] I was hoping I'd get a chance to view some terrific bird images. The video is super. And the still images are fantastic! You have such a great array of beauties today. Love the magpie as we don't get them this far south.
ReplyDeleteHave a glorious day. As always, I enjoy your image shares.
I love those Blackbird fledglings! I took a picture of one last year looking equally strange.
ReplyDeleteLove your collection of garden birds and the video is wonderful. I don't have Magpies in my area and they looked huge (especially next to the sparrow)! ~ I loved your narration. :)
ReplyDeleteI agree that it's fun to watch the birds! I would love to see and photograph a magpie!
ReplyDeleteI often think that you get to see more wildlife (particularly birds) Margaret if you stay in one location and let it all come to you.
ReplyDeleteI have tried this before and have been surprised at how much I did see. Problem is you don't get the exercise then.{:))
Wonderful collection of yard birds. The dove is one of my favorites. Love the video! Have a happy weekend!
ReplyDeleteGreat photos of your garden birds :)
