Birds and Animals at the 'Old Caravan',

Today, I am showing you the birds and animals in stills and video I saw around the fields and roads of my 'old caravan', some are even taken from my bed!  Quite a number are taken from a distance and heavily cropped therefore are not good, however I have included them as I record for myself.

  2. Oh my you have lots of my favourite animals on this post Margaret- yellow hammers (haven't seen one for years so thank you!), hare, fox and wren. Lovely piccies. Also enjoyed the sunset ones from yesterday. CT :-)

  12. wow...lots of good stuff! Love when the birds sit on top of a tree and sing :-) Makes it so nice for taking photos. Love the little dunnock and the fox! Your goldfinch is so different from ours, but very beautiful!

  17. Wow!..the 'old caravan patch' sure does well for wildlife Margaret! A great 'collection' you've got there!
    And the bug?...it's a ladybird pupae (Harlequin I think!)...after 7 to 10 days it becomes an adult ladybird...[;o)

  19. I agree with CT about the Yellowhammers. I haven't seen one for at least eight years and used to see them regularly up here. Sp pleased you are getting them where you are.

  20. These photos of the birds you captured are just fabulous! I am trying to decide my favorite. Hope that fox did not eat any of the birds! After taking a second look, I think it would be the Yellowhammer, which I have never even heard of! Cute and beautiful all at once!
