WILD BIRD WEDNESDAY

Recently my Bird Group and I went to the Kiltonga Natrual Reserve in Newtownards where these Mute Swans with their cygnets werefeasting on this weed.  There were also a few Mallard ducks.

    This water does not look healthy with all that duck weed growing on the surface. Beautiful bird photos here.

    The original ugly ducklings I think: on my last two trips out I have seen very young birds - I think spring must be in the air. Cheers - Stewart M - Melbourne
