WEEKEND REFLECTIONS AND THE WEEKEND ROUNDUP

Time for Weekend Reflections and The Weekend Roundup and the letter is E and Early.  Last week my post had 1 photo to illustrate everything, today I have  6 photographs to  cover the word “EARLY”  on Tom’s meme and REFECTIONS on Jame’s meme. EARLY every morning when I was staying at Belle Isle Castle, I walked over the field and down to sit quietly at the  water's end of the lake.  Do you have a favourite photograph today?

    Your lake view photos are very nice, showed the pretty scenes very well. Did they have a sitting bench at the water's end, or alongside, or did you have to sit on a big rock? Your Reflections picture, the first one, is just great! Yes, I think we called then a Heron also, I needed it for my "E's" as being an one is also the other, but the other isn't necessarily the one. I've forgotten, I think I googled egret and they were also a Heron. Maybe vice versa? Dunno.

    BTW, in the poem linked to this photo and my post, I do call the bird a" grey heron" That poem is on my other very active blog,

    I wrote it so it would cover a good friend loss also, without reference to a bird. The picture spills the beans.
