This
week are my final posts when I stayed at Belle Isle Castle, near Lisbellaw in
Country Fermanagh. Another afternoon we
visited Belleek Factory. It was
established in 1857 and if you are
interested in knowing more about the history of it, this is the LINK - https://belleekpottery.ie/visitor-centre/
I am
linking to THROUGH MY LENS.
I appreciate your
visit and comments.
I hope you
enjoyed this post today.
What a fascinating place - and a glorious example of their 'product'.
ReplyDeleteTheir stuff is absolutely beautiful!
ReplyDeleteIt is nice seeing the pottery being made, beautiful work. Take care, have a wonderful week!
ReplyDeleteI always love seeing how pottery is made. The guy who's concentrating so hard is probably attaching a handle to the lid in front of him. But the beautifully woven clay the woman in the last shot is about to cut is what's in the middle bottom of the pretty little basket, all finished!
ReplyDeleteWhat fun to see the Belleek factory at work. Always good to see skilled artisans at work.
ReplyDeleteThis is a place I'd love to visit, and I know I'd want to spend too much.
