    That is a beautiful pheasant! I guess they have been introduced worldwide by the hunting crowd.

    We have a large population of Ring Neck Pheasants here. They draw a large number of hunters to our state during Pheasant season. This bird is one of the drivers of our economy.

    The Pheasant is a pretty bird. I used to have some visit my feeders once in a while. I think they must have been escapees from a nearby farm, as we don't have them in the wild here.
