Wildflowers in the Countryside

We are still on the same walk from my old caravan and these are some of the beautiful wildflowers I photographed in the hedgerows along the country roads.  I do not know the names of them all  however the first two are wild Honeysuckle and the last shot are Floxgloves.

I hope you enjoyed this post today.

I appreciate your visit and comments.

  1. The honeysuckleis gorgeous; I have never seen any this color. The fourth looks a bit like Mountain Laurel.

  2. They don't last, but we've got so many honeysuckles next to our driveway, we clip a few each day to brighten up the kitchen. Lots of foxglove this year!

  3. I would pull a blossom of honeysuckle and pull out the anther from the bottom, thus getting one wonderful drop of nectar! A most enjoyable summer activity that I learned as a young one.
