All
these photographs were taken at the WWT Castle Espie. They are Ross’s Snow geese, Red breasted geese, Pale bellied Brent goose and a African Comb duck.

this post today.
I appreciate your visit and

The Red breasted are beautiful, and my favorite.
ReplyDeleteYou see far more types of ducks than we do. Lovely, lovely things.
ReplyDeleteDazzling colors--- fine pictures.
ReplyDeleteGood shots.
ReplyDeleteHello,
ReplyDeleteGorgeous geese, I have not seen most of these. Except for the Brent Goose, we call them Brant Geese. Great photos. Thank you for linking up and sharing your post. Take care, have a happy weekend. PS, thank you for leaving me a comment.
We also see Snow geese here, and they are usually accompanied by Blue geese. Their migration can be very early in the spring. We don't see Red Breasted geese here that I know of. Good series, Margaret.
ReplyDeleteThere are so many pretty varieties of geese and ducks, it makes me wonder why children's books always only show white geese and yellow ducks.
