In March, I visited the National Trust property of Mount Stewart, near Newtownards and on the lawn in front of the main house is an enormous and magnificent Magnolia tree and these are a few images I captured of the blooms

ReplyDeleteSimply gorgeous. I mourn that I cannot grow magnolias for some reason. And that the cockatoos attack any that we plant.

ReplyDeleteYour photos of these Magnolia blooms are beautiful. These trees grow mostly in the southern U.S., and your spring is way ahead of ours. It is snowing here today, and not even the grass has turned green yet.
