I took
all these photographed in Ward Park on 2 different mornings in March. One was a
sunny morning where you see the Rook collecting
for her nest and the Hooded Crown finding bird food on the gorund. The other shots were taken when we has a
sprinkling of snow and show the Hooded Crows and Moorhen looking for food.
I am linking to SATURDAY CRITTERS.
I hope you enjoyed
this post today.
I appreciate your visit and
comments.
Delightful critters. Thank you.
ReplyDeleteThe first is my favorite!
ReplyDeleteThat's a thumper of a black bird! #Saturdaycritters
ReplyDeleteI've begun to like crows a lot!
ReplyDeleteVery nice images. I hope our snow days are finally all behind us, though we still have freezing nights here in Connecticut, USA..
ReplyDeleteThank you, Margaret, for a nice series of Spring images. Birds around here, too, are gathering nesting material and having territorial fights. We don't have any sprinkling of that white stuff, though, and we aren't asking for any, either!
ReplyDeleteGini and I hope your weekend is going well. All the best.
Most interesting photos.
ReplyDeleteHi Margaret, that is a great shot of the Rook with the nesting material.
ReplyDeleteIt can't be easy foraging in the snow.
ReplyDeleteLove the first pic!
