For the next few weeks I am showing you a series of photographs I took of plants and sculptures in the Walled Garden in Bangor. This is a flower from the banana tree and Strelitzia plant.

I hope you enjoyed this post today.

I appreciate your visit and comments.

I am afraid my left shoulder/arm, although is improving, albeit very slowly, It is still causing me problems when I  try to type and so I will be leaving few comments.

  1. I do hope that blogger will allow my comment through this time. Beautiful things - and did you know there is a blue and white Strelitizia?

    1. NO I did not know that Sue so I looked it up. Not as impressive I think and the commoner one. Thanks for telling me.

  3. The banana tree flowers exhibit their relationship to the Bird of Paradise. We have a wild Alligator Flag whose blossoms are configured the same way but they are tiny. Birds love their seeds. I tasted their fruit but it was dry and bland.hope your shoulder improves.
