FRIDAY'S HUNT and WEEKEND REFLECTIONS

This week I am linking this post with Weekend Reflections and the first image fits that bill.  Also Friday’s Hunt is linked in and the letter this week is J, Favourite and Bird  So while I was leaving things into a charity shop, I spied the JIGSAW and then saw the JUMBO JIGSAW and as I was leaving these JACKETS were hanging on the rail.  The BIRD is a Greylag goose that I photographed in Ward Park.

Thanks for visiting and also for leaving the comments.

  1. What a pretty Greylag! It looks like he has teeth, but I think that must be beak markings. I love the birdhouse and reflection! It must be for ducks.

  2. Love the reflection. And have felt the pressure of a serrated beak more than once.

  3. I do like that last picture Margaret. Geese need to have a specialised bill to sift through and shred the weedy stuff they like.

  9. Great puzzles! I recall sites and sounds of Canadian geese flying south, landing in my dad's harvested cornfield.

  10. Thanks for coming by Margaret. The last photo of the goose is so sharp - can even see the little teeth.
About the brie, I forgot that they may have different packaging in each country. Here they come in a wedge shape . I would say the rounded edge of the wedge would be about 2 - 2 1/1 inch (that would be enough for a meal of 2-3 people, since the brie comes on top of the veggies).
    Have a great weekend!

  12. I really enjoy doing jigsaw puzzles - they are a long-time family favourite here. Also a great choice for the letter J. What a quaint bird hut in the pond - I would like living there if I was a water bird, I think!
