SCAVENGER HUNT SUNDAY and THROUGH MY LENS

These are my photographs to illustrate the word prompts for Scavenger Hunt Sunday and I am joining it to Through My Lens. Apart from the last shot, they were taken recently on my trip to Malawi this year.

This is the little church in a Tea Plantation that we attended on Christmas Eve and I have made it into a MONOCHROME photograph.

Annika, my granddaughter enjoyed making this Gingerbread house and I think all the colours are pleasing and very COMPLIMENTARY.

As I cannot DRAW too well I decided to turn this  photograph I took of my daughter Judith as she sat at the bow of a canoe wearing my new sun hat as we slowly and quietly made our way along the River Shire into a pencil drawing.

This is a photograph of the MOSTLY WHITE flowers from the Frangipani tree.

So you like my TREASURE chest?  When I was younger, I used it as a jewellery box but when I had granddaughters, they loved finding all my old costume jewellery in it.

I hope you enjoyed this week's photographs and I am linking with

Thank you for visiting and also to all who leave comments.

  11. A lovely set of photos and an interesting commentary about each one. White is so difficult to photograph and the frangipani flowers are beautiful.

  12. The church works well in monochrome and your photo drawing is great. Blessing and her cousin made mini gingerbread houses this year. Frangipani-one of my favorite scents. Wonderful treasure box.
