Today
I am starting my posts from when I visited friends in Johannesburg, South Africa in 2014. They live in a lovely gated community so I
was able, safely to get up early early each morning and take a walk to see what birds
I could find. There was a small lake
with these Blue Cranes that they were trying the breed and I photographed them from a hide.
Although
the light was not good due to it only being about 6.00 am, I also saw this Cape
Robin Chat above and these Hadeda Ibis below.
I hope you are going to see another part of Africa for a while.
I am linking this post with SATURDAY CRITTERS.
Many thanks for your visit and also to all those who comment while I am in Costa Rica.
