At Christmas/ New Year, my family and I went for a walk
with a friend’s dog, Barney. These are
the critters I found on the walk. We all
enjoyed it except Matthew who turned out to be feeling sick so my son in law had
to go and get the car to bring him home. So are you ready, boots on, then off we go.
Barney
The
family on the boardwalk but most
of the walk was through very muddy fields.
Just
had to show
you this!
Barney
loved fetching the thrown ball.
Poor Matthew
just felt awful.
Later, while I was tending him at home,
he was sick all over me from his top bunk!

Many thanks for leaving comments on this post.
I love this picture of the Abby, and the sheep, and the horses wearing coats. It must have been very cold! Poor Matthew. Has he gotten better yet? Do you think it's the flu?
ReplyDeletePoor, poor Mathew.
ReplyDeleteLoved the critters (particularly Barney) and the walk though.
Looks like most all (almost) the family and doggie had a great visit with the farm animals, Margaret.

I'm visiting from Saturday's Critters and I enjoyed coming along on the walk with you. The horses looked warm all bundled up and Barney got some good exercise. Too bad the young man was ill. Hope it didn't last long.
ReplyDeleteFantastic shots of horses and dogs.
ReplyDeleteThat looks like a thoroughly invigorating walk Margaret, as well as a good exercise in bonding. Matthew doesn't look too well does he in that last picture.
ReplyDeleteBarney looks so much like my daughter's Black Lab Holly except that Holly is a lady.
Oh yes, I did enjoy this walk! And I bet Barney did too!
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely walk through the muddy countryside. I can just imagine those warmer spring breezes! All the horses look so friendly. Poor Matthew, he does look so miserable. I hope he was feeling better very quickly. Barney looks like a lovely old dog. He has the same look in his eye for the ball as my dog. Happy weekend! Wendy
