Treecreeper Feeding at Loch Garten - Scotland Day 3

I am glad you all enjoyed seeing the lovely little Crested Tit yesterday and today I am showing you some more of the birds at the feeders at Loch Garten in Scotland.  There was Treecreeper, Coal Tit, Great Tit, Chaffinch and Goldfinch. They are feeding on peanuts and peanut butter which had been smeared on the tree trunk.  I do not think anymore words are necessary so enjoy the stills and there is also a short video at the end of this post.

  3. Love this little tree creeper. I am also very interested in the material used for this red bag of feed. That would be perfect for use at my cabin. Is it a material that you could buy do you think? I am guessing some sort of nylon mesh. Are those peanuts that are in it?? Going to make my self one of these out of something. Great little bird shots you got in this garden. I actually already turned in that lens.... only had it for the weekend. Going to rent another 400mm that is smaller for my upcoming trip.

  7. The treecreeper is a georgous little bird but one which isn`t in the habit of posing for pictures. I think I shall have to ge some peanut butter. It`s a great idea. I wonder would it cause any problems for the birds?

  11. Awesome shots of the tree creeper! They move so fast and are extremely difficult to photograph. I forgot about smearing peanut butter on our tree trunks. That will be put on my to-do list today!
