WEEKEND REFLECTIONS AND WEEDEND ROUNDUP

Time for Weekend Reflections and The Weekend Roundup and the letter is Q and Quiet.   This is my SIL telling everyone to be QUIET as we were having a "surprise" 21st birthday party for his son. The  of of my new car (to me)and I think the strip makes it look QUITE smart.  Part of his number plate shows QUEENSLAND the state that I live in.  My final photo  is me is QUIET contemplacion looking over a reflection on the water. I am using it as my REFLECTION shot this week.

On one of my early morning walks I met this man and his dog and was amzed that the dog was wearing shoes. On enquiry, I learned that the dog was allergic to one of the grasses, hence the shoes!

WEEKEND REFLECTIONS AND WEEDEND ROUNDUP



 
Time for Weekend Reflections and The Weekend Roundup and the letter is P and Pipe.  This is called a PIPE organ for obviously reasons and my mother was able to play the biggest ones of these with all the stops and pedals.The final shot was taken in Sweden 2 years ago and is a PETROL PROPELLED POWER speed boat anad I am using it as my REFLECTION photo this week.

In the town of Kuranda where we stopped to walk through from the Skyrail, I found a little church.  It was nothing to look at from the outside however inside they had all these wonderful stain glass windows.  I hope you enjoy the artist work on these as much as I do.

Time for Weekend Reflections and The Weekend Roundup and the letter is O and Over.  Now this first shot is a bit of a challenge.  Can you see a train OVER here?  No, well look at the second shot and I have cropped it in for you.  The third photos is a has been cafe with a lovely roof OVER it.  The final shot is the engine of that train (we are now on the other said of the valley) and my brother making an inspection of it and I am using it as my STREET PHOTOGRAPH this week.

At dusk one evening, I took this video of those 2 Laughing Kookaburra and although they had been very vocal and moving around the top of the lamppost, they pretented now they were statues!!!
