I visited the National Trust Property of Mount Stewart recently, in the
distance I saw a Coot on its nest and a chick peeping out waiting for its other
parent to bring it food. Unfortunately the

I've never seen a coot chick. I feel silly saying that aloud.

DeleteOh! Hope their parents got the food for them. Seeing them waiting for too long and looking for both food and parents is sad.
