Redshank

This photograph was taken very early in the morning as I walked along the promenade at the Marina in Bangor,  and the light was not good.

I hope you enjoyed this post today.

I appreciate your visit and comments.

  1. Early morning walks are wonderful - even when the light is not conducive to photography.

  3. Redshanks are lovely birds. Depending on the occasion you get a good roost where they are all pretty much hunkered down with one eye on guard, otherwise they are usually a little more distant feeding on the shoreline. Always nice to see them Margaret. Keep well

  5. Goodness, how they camoflauge! They look like the rocks, but with legs.

  7. Aside from the red legs, these birds just blend into the surroundings .
