Can
you see a bird in this photograph?
I
am linking to WILD BIRD WEDNESDAY
I am sure you can see it now. It is a Little Pied Cormorant that I photographed on the bird walk through the Cairns Botanical Gardens.
It
came out of the water however it was at a great distance from me, hence these poor photographs.
Thanks for visiting and also for leaving comments.
It looks like a serene and lovely place.
ReplyDeleteYes--- a wonderful place to visit. Cormorants in the water always remind me submarines with their periscopes up.
ReplyDeleteInteresting! I've never seen one like this. In fact from a distance, barely noticeable among the leaves on the water!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful place and lovely captures, nature is amazing! Have a lovely day☺
ReplyDeleteThey are so cute, Love these Pied Cormorants. Enjoy your day, wishing you a good week ahead!
ReplyDeleteI did see it in the first picture, thanks to it's yellow bill. I have never heard of a Pied Cormorant. But I have seen a Pied bill Grebe.
ReplyDeleteInteresting bird. Not the usual all dark Cormorant that I see here.
ReplyDeleteI thought the same. It's not like the average very dark cormorant.
