Weekend Reflections and The Weekend Roundup

Time for The Weekend Roundup and Weekend Reflections and the letter is V and Vertical.  I was walking round my town of Bangor when I photographed the   first two images of the VERTICAL church spire and the lovely VIOLETS. The remaining images were taken at VICTORIA Park in Belfast and I brought bird seed and these Mute Swans, Greylag and Pigeons were VERY hungry and there is also a REFLECTION  shot.

These last two shots are of a VINEYARD  and VERTICAL poles which I photographed in South Africa.

SUNDAY THOUGHT

I may be able to speak the languages of human beings and even of angels, but if I have no love, my speech is no more than a noisy gong or a clanging bell. I may have the gift of inspired preaching; I may have all knowledge and understand all secrets; I may have all the faith needed to move mountains—but if I have no love, I am nothing. I may give away everything I have, and even give up my body to be burned—but if I have no love, this does me no good

Photographed in Cape Town South Africa.

Have a Blessed Sunday.

Weekend Reflections and The Weekend Roundup

Time for The Weekend Roundup and Weekend Reflections and the letter is U and unusual.  This is a image of  a cow's UDDER and while out walking, I spied this very UNUSUAL tartan skirt and legs of a table in a window and can you see a REFLECTION of a car behind it?  Also this fence with this UNUSUAL decoration of hub caps on it!

SUNDAY THOUGHT

Moses said, “The Lord gave these commands to all of you when you were together there at the mountain. He spoke in a loud voice that came from the fire, the cloud, and the thick darkness. After he gave us these commands, he didn’t say any more. He wrote his words on two stone tablets and gave them to me.

Have a Blessed Sunday.

SATURDAY CRITTERS

My story and photographs continue from MONDAY and WEDNESDAY's posts when I was at the National Trust Property of Mount Stewart.

“OK Mum, just a little bit further and then we will let them play a while and show them how we upend ourselves to find food.” he says.

I was photographing from here at the side of this bank at the lake.

“Dad, we are tired now, can we go back?", two of the cygnets say.
"You all have done very well on your first outing so we will head back but keep close to the reeds as the evening is closing in" he told them.

I walked on and left this lovely new family to themselves and I just could not resist taking a final shot of them in the distance as they neared their nest site.
