Last
week I was part of a Rent – A - Crowd at the National Trust Property of Mount
Stewart when the BBC was filming live. This post is about the opening of another new trail which would add another 4 miles to the existing trails. We were instructed to go it a certain point round the lake and there we met by one the the BBC personal who then escorted us to the Squirrel hide which was opposite the trail to be opened. So we waited there until our time came for the official opening by Jon Kerr, our General Manager.
These are the 2 ladies and Smudge the dog I walked round the lake with and then met up with the others.
Jon Kerr
Jon Kerr was interviewed by Gavan Andrews and he also interviewed Bob of the workers that had helped make the trail as well as Jane, one of the regular walkers at this property. Then Jon cut the ribbon and we all set off along the new trail.

It looks like a truly inviting trail.
ReplyDeleteThat is wonderful news. We do not have a single public trail in our entire area of west Miramar, Florida. The last open area is now being developed for new houses.
ReplyDeleteHello, it is great to see more trail being added. It looks like a beautiful spot for a walk.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your day, wishing you a happy new week!

ReplyDeleteGini and I hope your new week will be superb.
So they are always making improvements and adding on. But I must say my favorite today is little Smudge!
