WEEKEND REFLECTIONS AND THE WEEKEND ROUNDUP

I am now back from Cape Town with thousands of photographs to edit! Today I am linking with The Weekend Roundup and Weekend Reflections and today the letter is A and Apple.  For this post we are at the AQUARIUM in Cape Town where you will see me standing in front of this tank of dozens of fish swimming AROUND AN ANCHOR but firstly I will show you a Magpie eating an APPLE.

This was a special day for ANNIKA, one of my two granddaughters but more about that next Friday.

These are some of the  ANEMONES that I ADMIRED.

This is AN AFRICAN Penguin and the small pond has a REFLECTION in it.

This is one of the largest tanks in the AQUARIUM and there were some divers swimming around it with a type of AQUA - lung equipment with a shark in the foreground of the image.

In future posts, there will be many more photographs but for now I leave you with some of us having lunch after our visit to the AQUARIUM and this is ANNA, my other granddaughter and my son in laws' AUNTY who was ninety years old!

Many thanks for your visit and also your comments.

  11. Margaret, Wow, what a fabulous collection of "A" photos. You were surrounded. You are looking good by that anchor. Love the shots of your granddaughters, too. An aquarium is a great photo trove. Hope the new year is starting out well for you!

  12. I love the Magpie, mostly because of my love for birds! They're pretty, but it's sure one heck of a pesty bird! They are everywhere in Colorado. We've had them come up to our car in parking lots and land on our rearview mirror! If you open the window they all but try to fly in! Have you ever experienced anything like this around these birds? The aquarium pics make me want to visit one again. We used to live just a few miles from the aquarium in Mystic, CT...it is a gorgeous facility! Happy New Year, Margaret!
