WILD BIRD WEDNESDAY

These photographs were taken in the second house we were staying about 11/2 hours from Cape Town.  I looked and  saw 1 bird that I had never seen before, then 2 appeared and then 3 of them and by now I knew they were young birds of the Helmeted Guinea Fowl.  Mostly they came every day and spent about an hour in our back garden.
I am linking to WILD BIRD WEDNESDAY.

  1. Oh my goodness, they are so cute! You know we have the Helmeted Guinea Fowl here, but I have never seen the babies! They don't have their helmets yet.

  4. I love today's bird. Gorgeous fluffy feathers. We've been spotting some new birds in Costa Rica. Last night, we encountered our first scorpion!
