These
photographs were taken in the second house we were staying about 11/2 hours
from Cape Town. I looked and saw 1 bird that I had never seen before, then 2
appeared and then 3 of them and by now I knew they were young birds of the
Helmeted Guinea Fowl. Mostly they came
every day and spent about an hour in our back garden.

Oh my goodness, they are so cute! You know we have the Helmeted Guinea Fowl here, but I have never seen the babies! They don't have their helmets yet.
