Time for The Weekend Roundup and Weekend Reflections and this week the
letter is S and Silver. I am starting with two SPECIAL things. Below is a beautiful Tulip I saw in Amsterdam
last year when I took my Art group. I bought bulbs and this is one of the blooms now
flowering. The SECOND SPECIAL things is the SILVER necklace that my daughter Gilian gave me for Mother's day and I have worn it since then nearly every SINGLE day.
It is an Owl pendant.
Now today we will not be walking too far but to start with before leaving
the house I photographed my SUMMERHOUSE
and the lovely variegated SILVER Pittosporum
tree on the right. Now we are off to walk round SAINSBURY’S and Homebase to see if we
can find things beginning with ‘S’. I think you can see for yourself all the things I found below.
That is all I saw of ‘S’s in the stores but while driving home and STOPPED
at traffic lights and I SAW this SERVICING SIGN below.
My FAVOURITE is the Tulip image.
Many thanks for visiting and also for leaving comments.
The tulip is pure and beautiful. And the pendant is perfect for you; your daughter has good taste!
ReplyDeleteLove that shaggy white tulip - and your owl pendant is very special indeed. I am not surprised you wear it often.
ReplyDeleteThat little summerhouse is so cute. Thank you for sharing and have a great weekend!

ReplyDelete...'S'pectacular 'S'election of 'S's! You outdid yourself. I'd love to hear that 'S'ixties album. Thanks Margaret for 'S'topping by, enjoy your week.
ReplyDeleteThanks. Margaret, for including Sansbury's. We don't have them here though we were a regular customer in London. But the St. John's Wood neighborhood Tesco convenience store saw us more often.
