WILD BIRD WEDNESDAY

I recently discovered two reservoir I did not know about that were only a few miles away from where I live.  There are not many birds on them and they always seem to prefer being in the middle of the reservoir which is not so good for getting shots of them  I am linking this post with Wild Bird Wednesday.

So today I photographed these 2 male Tufted duck and these Little Grebes.  There were quite a number of the Grebes
which was lovely to see although all were busy feeding.

Many thanks for visiting and also for leaving comments.

  2. If you go to ANY pond, the birds are NEVER on the near side.

  3. The ducks have a strong resemblance to our Barrow's Golden Eye Duck.

  4. Lovely shots, even if they were from far away.

  6. The ducks I see are always in the middle or on the far side. I have a lot of trouble getting good shots. Yours are very nice!

  7. Today I photographed seven Canada Geese in our front pool at the float cabin. This is the earliest sighting on record. I'm not sure if they are really early or some of the resident geese overwintering on the grounds of the hospital in town 20 miles away. - Margy

  9. What a treasure you've found--and close by! The inhabitants may change by the seasons, it will be interesting to see who your visitors might be.
